National Headquarters is responsible for administrative, legal, financial and operational duties. The Association is governed by a National Board of Directors, responsible for creating Governing Policies that are implemented by the Executive Director.

Job Descriptions

Executive Director

  • The Executive Director reports to the current National Board of Directors collectively
  • Responsible for all operational aspects of the Association, including national headquarters

 

Membership Services Coordinator

  • Receptionist for Association
  • Manage all individual member and club data including related databases
  • Process club charters and disbandments
  • Screen and process life memberships

 Projects Coordinator

  • National Service Committee liaison
  • Creates and runs National Projects
  • Develops resources for clubs to use to run their service projects successfully
  • Promotes the importance of service projects to clubs
  • Coordinates annual National Convention
  • Works with Corporate Sponsors
  • Hal Rogers Endowment Fund Board of Trustees staff liaison

Administrative Assistant

  • Coordinate travel, registration and accommodation logistics for National Board, Governors, Vice Governors, Committees, public speakers and staff to National Convention, as well as National Board and Committee meeting arrangements
  • Coordinate communication processes to/from Association National and District Leadership and Clubs
  • Provide support to Education Committee to update and distribute materials for DLS and Vice Governor training
  • Main contact for Kin Sales, takes and process orders, ordering product from suppliers
  • Awards and Recognition Committee staff liaison

Operations Manager

  • Manage all aspects of finances and related processes (dues, financial statements, audit, accounts payable / receivable, payroll and government reporting)
  • Shared responsibility for development of annual operating budget
  • Coordinate HR functions and staff relations; administration of employee benefits program
  • Oversee facility, office equipment and computer maintenance

Risk Management Coordinator

  • Manage and administer Association’s national insurance coverage, including broker relations
  • Manage all related records and processes, including club insurance forms and related database
  • Manage ongoing diligence on and addressing of potential risk exposures for Association
  • Coordinate tracking and follow-up of corporate status of all clubs
  • Provides bilingual services to members and the public 
  • Awards and Recognition Committee staff liaison

Communications Coordinator

  • Contributes to Association communication pieces as well as promotional materials
  • Creates monthly email newsletter to all members
  • Media/PR contact for outgoing and incoming communications
  • Responsible for content on national website, uploading resources and keeping it updated
  • Contributes to content of KIN Magazine
  • Responsible for social media
  • Creates communication and public relation related resources and guides

Marketing Coordinator/Editor of KIN Magazine

  • Brand development and management
  • Manages all aspects of marketing programs    
  • Oversees and contributes to KIN Magazine (ad sales, content & production for two print editions per year)
  • Media/PR contact for outgoing and incoming communications
  • Design of web, social media and print publications 
  • Oversees and creates Association communication pieces (i.e. annual report, marketing materials, etc.)

Club Support Coordinator

  • Provides support and guidance to member Clubs 
  • Works directly with District Membership Directors (and in consultation with Governors and Deputy Governors) to establish and monitor action plans that support District priorities 
  • Maintains regular contact with a network of District Membership Directors to foster engagement and collaboration 
  • Provides research and resources for the Club Support Committee and supports member development and growth
