Was this project a fundraiser? Yes
Description of project Sold flavoured regular sized candy canes through our facebook page. 1 for $3 or 2 for $5. Allowed the purchasers to customize with a special holiday message than would label and had the Club and Kin Kids deliver locally to their door. Those purchasing were required to provide the recipients Name, Address for delivery, and optional message, all of which would be tied with a ribbon and card onto the Candy Cane.

How was this project promoted in your community? Through word of mouth and our Facebook webpage
What were some challenges you faced with this project, and how could your project be improved? Due to unpredictable winter weather and limited club members we had to restrict our delivery range to city limits which did not allow for outlying acreages surrounding our small city to be included and there was no pickup option the first year of the project.

Is there anything else you would like to share that would assist another club in duplicating this project in their community? Be sure to specify delivery dates from the beginning and try to group candy canes by neighborhood for easier delivery in sections.
