-had an outline from previous year's event
-no sponsors
-community benefited by education of HREF bursary, who Kin Canada is and what we do, helped increase the number of bursaries awarded

What were some challenges you faced with this project, and how could your project be improved? -finding a new group of public to sell to
-members sold most tickets at Kin events
-obtaining a public business front to sell tickets was a challenge. Most did not want you selling anything at their door- have costumers spend money inside Always stated charity to benefit 1st.
-often these business did not reply
- current club members do not have children participating in local sports- I.E. so they could possiblely sell tickets at an area while their child played hockey

$10 each for prizes: $1200 plus 4 x $100

What were the expenses for this project? license, printing, postage of prized to out of town winners about $220.
Is there anything else you would like to share that would assist another club in duplicating this project in their community? Brew for a Crew raffle, the initial idea was beer for a year.
By expanding the choice of prize to include liquor opened some doors.
Note only 1 of the 5 winners selected alcohol for this prize. The other 4 took the money.
