Description of project This is the annual Cystic Fibrosis London Chapter Great Strides walk.
For many years now our club has supported the walk by providing a large tent, tables, chairs and a full pancake and sausage breakfast for between 100 and 200 Participants and volunteers.
The club bring out large event trailer and set a BBQ meal. This year we also gave away 50 bags of Maple Candy floss.

How was this project promoted in your community? CF London Chapter advertises this on their website as well we have it posted on our site.
What were some challenges you faced with this project, and how could your project be improved? No hydro to run floss machine, requires generator. Not an issue just adds to the planning.
What was the approximate budget for this project? Less than $1,000
If the project was a fundraiser, what were the sources of revenue for this project? This is considered as part of our annual donation to the CF London Chapter. We do the project totally in kind.
We estimate our donation in Kind is around $2,200

Meal at $10 per person. 150 X $10 = $1,500, tables at $8 x 16 = $128, BBQ rental $80 x 2 $160, Propane = $75, Large tent = $400

This is above our annual $4,000 donation to Cystic Fibrosis

Is there anything else you would like to share that would assist another club in duplicating this project in their community? This is a great event we enjoy working with the CF London Chapter and this is a highlight on our annual calendar of events.
