Spears said being a Kinsmen is phenomenal for many reasons, including the cherished friendships, and support that is given to this community and others.

Popoff is proud of his years of involvement with Kinsmen and now with the Rotary Club of Cranbrook, servicing many of the community's greatest needs. "Being on the Board of Directors of both organizations and providing guidance and support to many local service agencies within our community," Popoff said. With Kinsmen, he chaired the Kinsmen Quad Light-up, and was president during the Kinsmen Kiddie Spray Park development

Trudy Brown’s daughter has autism and like many youth with autism, she has a tendency to run off. There’s a road close to them and large dogs in neighbours' yards. Brown’s worries were taken away Saturday as a group of Kinsmen volunteered their time to build a fence with money that was donated by President’s Choice to Brown’s family.

As we begin another busy Kin year, our 40th in the community, the members of the Bible Hill Kinsmen would like to welcome you back into your school/work routine after a busy summer. We’re proud to be part of many different events and celebrations around the community.

Stewart Ruffley has witnessed horrific experiences in his life time that have left him wondering “what kind of world” he lives in. But joining the Fort Erie Kinsmen Club has helped to renew Ruffley’s spirit. Ruffley spoke about his experiences at a speaking competition hosted by the Kinsmen organization in the spring. He was the winner of the Gord Harbison Public Speaker Award and the Bill Esson Kin Quill Award.

The Weyburn Kinsmen presented the Wor-Kin Shop with $200,000. This money will be recognized as a permanent legacy of the Kinsmen Foundation in the naming of the Wor-Kin Shop new Day Home building at a grand opening in 2015.

Demographics are shifting, and fewer Canadians are volunteering regularly, but service clubs across the country continue to give back to their communities – and members say that won’t stop, despite recent challenges in attracting and retaining members.

The Wasaga Beach Kinette Club is celebrating 40 years of community service and friendship.  Club members got together at Lakes of Wasaga Country Club in Wasaga Beach June 24 to mark the milestone.

The ribs have all been eaten, the 18 bands are finished playing on two stages, the carousel has come to a stop in the midway, the vendors have packed up, and the Kinsmen are ready for a rest. A massive thank you to each and every one of you who made the 16th Annual Sarnia Kinsmen Ribfest such a success.

Port Hope, ON - The Port Hope Kinsmen, organizers of the annual Canada Day Celebrations, are very excited to receive funding to enhance this years’ event, and invite everyone to come out and “Celebrate Canada” Monday June 30th and Tuesday July 1st in historic Port Hope!
